Recipes passed down, not written down
Every sweet, every snack, every pickle is handcrafted in our Jamshedpur kitchen using age-old recipes passed down through generations.
We believe in the warmth of homemade food, the authenticity of traditional methods, and the care that goes into every bite. Our ingredients are sourced with care, ensuring that the flavors of Bihar remain uncompromised.
We deliver Pan-India. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm delivery details for your location.
Who we are
BihariPakwan Foods is a home kitchen in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. We make thekua, gujiya, mathri, namkeen and pickles by hand, in small batches, and deliver them across India. Our FSSAI licence number is 21126053000139, and BihariPakwan Foods is a government-registered MSME business.
Everything is made by hand, in small batches, with the recipes and the methods that Bihari families have used for generations: whole wheat flour and jaggery for thekua, slow-roasted khoya for gujiya, cold-pressed mustard oil and sun-dried raw mangoes for the pickles.

What we make, and what we do not use
We make seven things today: thekua, gujiya, mathri, namkeen, and mango, green chilli and kathal pickles. Each one has its own page with the ingredients, the shelf life and the price for every type and size, so you can see exactly what you are buying.
We do not use artificial preservatives, colours or flavour enhancers, and we do not use ready-made masala packets.
We would rather make fewer things properly than many things quickly.
