What is a Bihari gift hamper?
A gift hamper is a box of homemade Bihari sweets and snacks, put together for someone you want to remember at a festival. Instead of a box of ordinary mithai, it carries the foods that Bihari homes make for their own celebrations: thekua, gujiya, mathri, namkeen and the pickles that sit beside every meal.
Everything in a hamper is made by hand in our kitchen in Jamshedpur, in small batches and without preservatives, and it is delivered across India.
Who a hamper suits
A hamper suits anyone who would be glad of the taste of home. It is a gift for Biharis living away from Bihar, for family at Diwali, for a sister or brother at Raksha Bandhan, for the return gifts at a wedding, and for a colleague or a neighbour you would like to thank.

How to order a hamper
Choose a hamper below and tap its order button. It opens WhatsApp with the hamper already named in the message, and you add your name, the address you would like it sent to and your pincode. We confirm the price, the delivery timing and the payment details with you there.
The foods in our hampers come from our kitchen, and you can order them one by one in the shop.
Choosing a hamper
Think about when the hamper will be opened. Gujiya keeps for 7–10 days, thekua for 15–20 days with desi ghee and 45–60 days with refined oil, namkeen for 40–50 days and the pickles for ten months or more, so a hamper that has to travel far, or wait for a festival, can lean on the longer-keeping foods.
If the person you are giving it to has allergies, tell us on WhatsApp. Our foods contain wheat, milk, cashews, peanuts and mustard in different combinations, and we can talk through what suits.
For a festival such as Diwali or Raksha Bandhan, or for a wedding, order early. A hamper is packed by hand, and we confirm the last date to order for the occasion on WhatsApp.
